Typescript draft of a script for a ballet entitled Possession
( or cattle of the Gods), (from 'Cattle Raid of Cooley' as told by Eleanor Hull) written by Teresa Deevy, and containing a list of characters to the front of the manuscript. It begins: 'The scene is a great plain in Connaught'. Document is paginated and contains a note handwritten in ink by [ Deevy ] which reads ' These "bulls" are - according to Irish legend, " of the Gods" + are sent on earth as two warring spirits, - always bringing death + disaster - they have come as ravens - as swineherds etc - etc - always "spirits of conflict".
